About IP Filtering
A stolen password, a compromised account, a connection from an unknown network… What if access to your platform didn’t depend solely on a username and password?
This is a common concern when deploying an intranet or digital workplace: how can you reduce the risk of intrusion without making things more difficult for users?
IP filtering (also known as IP whitelisting or IP-based access restriction) is a security mechanism that limits access to a tool to authorized network addresses only.
With the IP Filtering app, Jamespot lets you specify the IP addresses or IP ranges authorized to access your platform. Any connection from an unauthorized IP address will fail.
In the IP Filtering app, enter the IP addresses or IP ranges authorized to connect: only these IP addresses will be able to access your platform.

Enhanced security: You reduce the risk of unauthorized access to your platform, even if login credentials are stolen.
Immediate setup : You enter the authorized IP addresses, confirm, and you’re done.
No changes for users: You don’t need to notify or train your users on a new login method—implementing this security measure has no impact on the user experience.
Want to take your access security to the next level ?
Enable two-factor authentication on your Jamespot platform! With this additional security measure, you add an extra verification step when users log in, further reducing the risk of unauthorized access.
