About Two-factor authentication
Just one compromised password, and your entire platform is at risk 🔐
Even though we’re aware of the risks, many of us still use the same password across multiple sites. And if one of those sites is hacked, it’s easy for a malicious actor to try that password elsewhere—and thus log in to your platform by impersonating the user.
Two-factor authentication (2FA, or MFA) prevents this with an extra layer of verification: in addition to the password or SSO, the user must enter a 6-digit code generated by a two-factor authentication app. Without this code, a stolen password no longer grants access to the platform.
With its two-factor authentication app, Jamespot lets you add this layer of security to your collaborative platform and decide whether it’s optional or mandatory for all users.

Want to take your access security to the next level ?
Enable IP Filtering on your Jamespot platform: in addition to two-factor authentication, restrict access to only trusted IP addresses or IP ranges.
